Happy May Day...
Kim Sang-duk became the third U.S. citizen to be imprisoned in North Korea “after police arrested him as he prepared to board a flight at Pyongyang International Airport.” Otto Warmbier, a University of Virginia student, was sentenced to 15 years hard labor in March for removing a sign from a wall. “Human Rights Watch called the sentence ‘outrageous and shocking.’” 62-year-old, Kim Dong-chul, reportedly a missionary, was sentenced to ten years hard labor last April (2016) for supposedly spying. “…The majority of foreigners detained in North Korea have been U.S. citizens, with 15 arrested in total since 1995.” -Tom Porter/ Newsweek (4/25/17) Kim Jong Un: Let the three come home...
